Description
Following a blowout first edition of Stretch Your Legs in January, Leg Room returns to SILO for a springtime stretch in the daytime to celebrate the longer days ahead. They’re bringing along friends from Brooklyn record label HOMAGE to make this one even bigger.
Council: 3-5PM
Leg Room b2b Ryan Clover: 5-9PM
Leg Room \[NYC\] are best friends who have been DJing together for years. With a mutual love of keeping it eclectic, Leg Room has brought their blend of house, disco, and dub across NYC this past year on dance floors such as Outer Heaven, Jupiter Disco, Cafe Balearica, Ponyboy, Virgo and more. Stretch Your Legs is their party brainchild spanning across genres, but always focused on making you move. Start slow, end fast, pace yourself, and come along for the ride..
Ryan Clover \[HOMAGE\] has fast become one of the brightest talents rising from the NYC underground with a string of high profile releases getting continuously rinsed on some of the world’s biggest stages. He’s so far released projects on ARTS, Kneaded Pains, fabric, Fantastic Voyage, and HOMAGE. His latest ‘My Light, My World’ EP released via Eris Drew’s new label, Ecstatic Editions, has further cemented his place in the scene. Clover’s sound is big and bursting with power, but never lacking in real emotional energy. Many of his tunes veer from raucous head-through-a-wall sequences into sections of instrumental euphoria or melancholy. It’s no surprise that his tracks which he’s quietly sent to friends with love via DMs, and even stuffed in plastic drug baggies, have made their way into DJs’ sets & radio shows from the likes of Eris Drew, Octo Octa, Peach, Club Fitness, TSHA, Ewan McVicar, Call Super, Moxie, KETTAMA, JASSS, Josey Rebelle, Alan Fitzpatrick, Luigi Madonna, Amaliah, Radio Slave, Skream, and more.
Council \[NYC\] fell in love with electronic music while studying filmmaking in Europe and went on to combine the sounds of Chicago, Detroit, and Berlin with her own pop sensibility on her debut EP, ‘One Hundred Nights.’ An avid crate-digger, she blends rare gems of the past with fresh new sounds that will have you asking “track ID?” all night long. Keep an eye out for her upcoming release on HOMAGE making her placement on this bill extra special.
