Noah Roth is a singer-songwriter/multi-instrumentalist who recently returned to their hometown of Chicago after a seven year stint on the east coast. Their music pulls from the likes of Silver Jews, Wilco, and Pedro the Lion, with vivid lyrics and compelling melodies. They self-released their sixth solo album, “Florida,” in October ‘23, with plans for a follow up later this year.
Singer-songwriter Molly Carberry is a Chicago native recently returned after two years in Melbourne, Australia. Her current project is a reflection on her years abroad when everything that could go wrong, did, until she suddenly lost the vision in her right eye in what could only be described as an act of god. Drawing inspiration from artists like Fiona Apple, Elliott Smith, and Mitski, Carberry’s music is characterized by powerful vocals and compelling lyrics. Her debut single, Not Supposed to Know, will be self-released May 10th.
Caleb Ramos is an exciting new voice on the Chicago soundscape with the release of his first album, Headlock Hotel, earlier this year. The collection of eight songs highlights Caleb’s unique and recognizable approach as a composer, multi-instrumentalist, and engineer. Characterized by thick vocal textures, deliberate harmonies, and a raw emotional undercurrent, Headlock Hotel finds listeners in the space between Americana and the edgier alternative sound of the 90’s and early-2000’s.
