Since 1999 Dark Sparkle has provided a unique blend of glitter, glamour, and gloom to the Bay Area club scene. A mix of everything from goth to glam, new wave to punk, post-punk, electronics, esoterica, and that god damned rock 'n' roll! This month in Dazzle, DJs Sage and Chat Noir present a tribute to iconic subversive music label, Some Bizzare Records! For many of us Some Bizzare provided our first glimpse into the seedier music underground, featuring artists such as Coil, Einstürzende Neubauten, Foetus, Psychic TV, Cabaret Voltaire, Soft Cell, The, Test Dept, B-Movie, Swans, and even the earliest music of Blancmange and Depeche Mode! Expect a deep dive into the label, related artists and contemporaries. In Above, DJs Miz Margo and guest DJ Starr will be playing your requests and Dark Sparkle favorites! Come to dance, come to hang out with friends, or simply find a dark corner all to yourself. However you choose to celebrate, this is going to be a hell of a party!
