Description
JW FRANCIS
Born in Oklahoma, raised in Paris, based in New York City, former-assistant to a Nobel Prize Winner, JW Francis has a lo-fi, utterly irresistible bedroom dream-pop style that echoes the lo-fi sound New York has been inspiring for decades. His debut album ‘We Share a Similar Joy’ was met with critical acclaim, with features from DIY Magazine to Line of Best Fit and was named as ‘Album of the Day’ on BBC 6 Music.
PAUL CHERRY
Paul Cherry is a musician and DJ from Chicago that takes songwriting elements of classic songs and blends them with universal themes of the modern age, trying to retain elements of jazz and off-kilter pop harmony while keeping the songs approachable and relatable. After developing his mid-fi jazz-pop sound in the local Chicago garage and bar scene, the album cycle for Flavour took Paul on tour for almost 2 years straight, playing 300+ shows in the US, Canada and Europe.
DANTE ELEPHANTE
Santa Barbara-based Ruben Zarate, AKA Dante Elephante makes soulful, disco-kissed tracks, seemingly right out of 1979. Dante Elephante now offers his most accomplished work to date: Mid-Century Modern Romance, produced by Paul Cherry.
FONTEYN
UK native Fonteyn's debut album “Trip the light Fantastic” offers music centered around rainbow chords and melody. The songs are playful, sentimental, and offer a sense of the theatrical. Fonteyn wants to take you by the hand and sweep you into another time and place.
Presented by Born Losers Records.
