Zeds Dead Family – prepare for contact; we’re going on a journey to the Hampton Coliseum! The legendary duo is heading to Hampton, Virginia, on April 12-13 for First Contact, their largest show on the East Coast to date. Fans knew when they announced the show earlier this month it would be a huge one, but this lineup reveal will go down as one of the best Zeds Dead has curated over the past decade. The direct support alone comes as a major surprise with two names we’ve never seen before on a Deadbeats lineup. None other than UK legend Skream will play a dubstep set on night one, with Jade Cicada bringing his ethereal flair and halftime-infused grooves the next night for a total vibe switch. The curation to follow perfectly matches the vibe of the direct support acts. Rusko, Smoakland b2b Sippy, and Distinct Motive make up the rest of Friday’s heavy-hitting dubstep lineup. While Friday has been dubbed as dubstep day, there’s no lack of variety in these names, as fans can expect everything from drum and bass with Rusko to grimy 140 doubles with Distinct Motive. Meanwhile, Saturday brings the grooves with funkier, lighthearted vibes leading up to Jade Cicada and Zeds Dead. Floret Loret and Curra are set to kick off the night before rising star Cool Customer takes the honors of Jade Cicada’s support.
