During the height of COVID lockdowns, Gold Bloc artists and community members formed a pod and found ways to express themselves and practice our art forms by playing music, reading poetry, decorating spaces in creative themes, and finding our own light in dark times. After a particularly debaucherous evening celebrating our friend’s Galactic Barbie Birthday, ROWDI Holloway, the founder of Gold Bloc, found himself musing over a classic house track by The Ones. We thought it would be fun to remix, but finding an acapella to work with proved impossible. Being the creative crew that we are, it was decided that we just needed to do our own take on the song, and Absolutely Flawless was born!
