Kaos London celebrates 20 years with a series of international shows in London, Athens and Tbilisi. For the London event at FOLD on November 3rd we are pleased to welcome the return of Years of Denial, a project that was born in Kaos and went on to tour the world with their electrifying live performances. Years of Denial is the project of French musician Jerome Tcherneyan and Czech performance artist, songwriter and poet Barkosina Hanusova. Utilising hardware and a plethora of dub devices overlaid with Barkosina’s unmistakable vocals, the pair revisit the dark corners of post-punk, goth, new beat, EBM, industrial, and rave culture. Their live shows inject rhythmic beats and pulsating arpeggios with heavy electronics fused with a spacey psychedelic sonic treatment. The duo operates on the dance floor with a powerful performative representation creating an excursive, unforgettable experience. Parma Ham is an artist, curator, musician, and DJ based in London. Since 2015 they have been a producer with the Serpentine Galleries. Ham is a proponent of gothic industrial techno. They hold a DJ residency at Slimelight, and run the event series Wraith programming subversive performance, music and fashion. Ham also edits the annual magazine Inertia which focuses on performance, ritual and nightlife. They have recently played at Memento Mori (New York), Soft Leather (LA), WHOREDOM (Paris), Ritual (Rome) and Wave Gottik Treffen (Leipzig), they have supported Nitzer Ebb and Marc Almond and scored the soundtrack for the Comme Des Garcons Fall runway show in Paris. Dahc Dermur VIII is a walking work of art, style icon and muse. Their DJ sets are 'musical paintings set to performance' combining elements of techno, electronic body music and industrial sonics. Dahc has been featured in Vogue, screened work at David Lynch's Silencio club in Paris, held a 5 year residency at Sketch London and DJed for Rick Owens, Boiler Room, Body Movements Festival, Howl and many other high profile events in the capital. Choronzon is the founder of Kaos London. He plays brutal, expansive and cinematic dj sets fusing elements of techno, wave, minimal synth, industrial and body music for clubs, galleries and festivals. He has performed for Balenciaga at Rex Club Paris, Khidi Club in Tbilisi, CTM Festival at Tresor, Forte Festival Portugal, Chaos Festival Athens, Mindless (Morocco) and Exist Festival in Ramallah, Athens and London. 21+.
