The smoke machine and strobes will be working overtime when Cómeme takes over Good Room on October 13. Label cofounder Matias Aguayo will be playing back to back with label manager Paurro for a night devoted to the dark side of the mirror ball. Plus, Elle Dee and Viiaan take over the Bad Room for the night. Founded in 2009, the internationalist label Cómeme has established itself as a mobile home, a dance music caravan joined and nurtured by artists from around the world. The label prides itself as a place for diversity, irreverence, musical insurgency and freedom. For this night with Matias and Paurro, expect the unexpected, from house music ecstasy to acidic beatdowns to experimental techno, the decks are open when it comes to these two. And, if we're lucky, Matias might even break out the microphone and perform a few songs for us. Over in the Bad Room, Elle Dee and Viiaan will be behind decks. Elle is a DJ, producer, curator, and being behind Mild Fantasy –– a queer techno label from New York. Elle has been a force in the New York City club scene for over ten years, known for her ability to control a room—shifting between techno, house, and breaks. Viiaan is a producer, record collector, DJ and co-founder of Voragine, label and platform under which she promotes the work of artists who work both in the field of experimental electronics, and within the club sound. **Good Room is a safe space for all people.
