EAST Collective's XL events series at Paradiso Amsterdam's main room: Friday 6th of October with the return of legend Joey Beltram to EAST and Paradiso. J͟O͟E͟Y͟ ͟B͟E͟L͟T͟R͟A͟M͟ For over the last 20+ years, Joey Beltram is considered one of the pioneers and a legendary producer of Techno and House. He has recorded on many of the biggest labels of the early 90's such as Nu-Groove, Tresor, Warp, Transmat, and R&S records. Much of his music during that time is widely acknowledged as groundbreaking. Beltram has also been heralded as a major influence by many of today's DJs and producers including Daft Punk (as mentioned in their song "Teachers"). He has also produced many Techno staples of the 1990's including "Energy Flash", "Mentasm", "Forklift", "Ballpark" and "Game Form". In more recent years Joey Beltram has worked with and remixed artist's and DJ's such as Adam Beyer, Carl Cox, Umek, Oliver Huntemann and Steve Lawler. His productions on Harthouse, BUSH, MB Electronic and Drumcode have shown he still has the magic touch in the studio. Beltram has also headlined some of the biggest Festivals and events worldwide including Nature One, Bonusz Festival, Awakenings, Rock-it open air, Coachella, BLOC, A Day at the Park, Full House Festival and Tomorrowland, to name a few. // C͟O͟-͟A͟C͟C͟U͟S͟E͟D͟ Long-standing resident DJs of the legendary underground venue Club 69, Co-Accused - aka Raymond & Lindsay Green - are a key fixture of Scotland's vibrant club scene. Their techno and electro label Co-Accused Records has a dynamic ethos, channelling what they describe as “sonic grooves from another galaxy”. Their debut four-track release ‘Psychonaut Society', features a remix from Jensen Interceptor and has received strong support from the likes of Helena Hauff, Dave Clarke and Slam. Releases on their label feature music from Ara-U, Radioactive Man, Fear-E, Acidulant and Gary Beck under his Sosak alias. Co-Accused's own productions have also appeared on Soma Records sub-label Avoidant and the Berlin based label Sävy Records. In addition, Lindsay's solo track 'Creepin' has recently been released on Sync 24's label Cultivated Electronics, and Raymond's solo work has been remixed by Hardfloor and The Horrorist. Always staying true to their driving, energetic sound, Co-Accused never fail to make a dancefloor move! // J͟A͟Y͟Z͟O͟ Whether playing a big venue, a festival or an intimate, gritty underground club; his sets are always influenced by the vibes and atmosphere of the place he started out at; the beach. Jayzo started DJ'ing at Scheveningen beach back in 2010 where he was mesmerized by the magic of electronic music together with the alluring effect of the sun, sea and sand. Driven by this very passion for the shore, he became the resident dj of several clubs at this beach, still playing at some during the summers. While playing at clubs, Jayzo's sound is primarily centered around high energy raw techno, but he never fails to include influences of his love for progressive sounds in his sets. As the head of the cutting edge underground concepts Excess - The Movement and East Techno Collective, Jayzo paved his way through the Amsterdam scene with regular parties in and around Amsterdam. Holding residencies at Melkweg Amsterdam (Techno Tuesday Amsterdam), Paradiso Amsterdam (East) and previously Panama Amsterdam, as well as bookings around The Netherlands and beyond in nearly 30 different countries to date, he's shared decks with several heavyweights from the global underground scene. Jayzo's adventurous spirit has brought him to play in techno hotspots around the world such as London, Berlin, Barcelona, Beirut, Goa, Shanghai, Monterrey and more.
