How Weird Official Afterparty at Temple SF
Temple, in collaboration with Opel Productions, Opulent Temple, Muti Music, Northern Nights, Empire Records, and Soundpieces, proudly presents the official after-party for the How Weird Street Faire. This epic music celebration kicks off at 8 pm right after the festival concludes and keeps the energy going until 2 am.
Upstairs, immerse yourself in the fantastic world of house and breaks, with a lineup curated by Opel Productions, Opulent Temple, and Empire Records. Featured DJs include Mz. Worthy, Baby Weight, N808, Mike Kerrigan, Syd Gris, Brian Peek, and Richard Mixon.
Venture to LVL55, where you'll be treated to a sonic journey through deep dub, global bass, and leftfield bass, spanning everything in between. The music at this space is brought to you by Muti Music, Northern Nights, and Soundpieces. Leading the way is David Starfire, hailed by BBC Radio as "One of the most brilliant world-fusion producers of our time." David, a pioneer of the Global Bass genre, has graced the stages of renowned festivals like Coachella, Outside Lands, Burning Man, Envision, Eclipse, and Lightning in a Bottle. He's collaborated with and remixed tracks for artists such as Afrika Bambaataa, CloZee, Beats Antique, Ram Dass, Sizzla, Alex Grey, Dub FX, and Ooah (The Glitch Mob). Sharing the co-headlining slot with David is local Bay Area sensation Sidecar Tommy, known for his role as the songwriter, pianist, and beat programmer for the electrifying gypsy-meets-EDM band, Beats Antique. BOGL, a NorCal music producer who also curates Soundpieces events, will grace the stage with his unique sounds. Dov1 from Muti Music will spin his originals and unreleased tracks from his label, promising an exceptional auditory experience. Kicking off the night, Av8Trix and ManyNames, two up-and-coming DJs, will set the tone with a carefully selected mix of tunes specially crafted for this event.
