About The Stews
Website | Facebook | Instagram | TikTok | YouTube | Spotify
Blending genres such as hard rock, alternative, indie and more- The Stews are a rock band that cannot be confined to just one sound. Spawned out of impromptu basement jam sessions in the Fall of 2020, the band started as a group of friends who also happened to be musicians. This chemistry is what fuels their electric (often sweaty) live shows and allows them to write the music that they love to play.
After releasing their debut album What Was in April of 2022, The Stews have been a non-stop touring machine, playing packed-out shows across the country. Forming at Auburn University, the band ultimately decided to leave school to meet the massive demand for their live shows. With sellout crowds from Nashville to New York, Charleston to Dallas, and several in between, it is clear that The Stews have graduated from their former “college band” label. A Stews concert is a perfect blend of upbeat, singalong indie tunes and downright headbanging hard rock.
The Stews consist of Preston Hall, Blake Dobbs, Bennett Baugus, and Wyatt Griffith.
About XIXIX
Website | Instagram | Spotify
Built on foundational authenticity, XIXIX lays everything on the table. With nothing left to the imagination besides how to pronounce the name, there’s no sense that bandleader Will Brown is playing a part when he brings himself onstage. Released this fall, his debut album contains sonic production frills but is juxtaposed by a live show that is raw, loud and fast. Pulling influences from LCD Soundsystem, The Cure, and Neil Young in both sound and aesthetic, XIXIX best serves an intentional listener who can separate intrapersonal lyricism from a highly approachable soundscape.
