WOMP LIFE Krishna Lee and Frank Nitty have been working together for over a decade, producing Bay Area events under the name Womp. In 2022, the duo combined their production skills to create a unique sound they call melodic progressions under the name Womp-Life. By the beginning of 2023, Womp-Life had released three tracks on German labels Redux Deep, 7th Cloud, and Trip & Emotions. The tracks were well-received and helped establish Womp-Life’s reputation as a rising talent in the electronic music scene. In the same year, Womp-Life followed up with the release of their first EP, “Galaxy Exploration,” on Geomagnetic Records. The EP features four tracks, each showcasing Womp-Life’s signature sound of melodic progressions. The EP was met with critical acclaim and helped cement Womp-Life’s position as one of the most exciting new acts in electronic music. At the top of 2024, Womp-Life’s catalog continues to grow with the release of their second EP, “Journey to the Light.” Womp-Life’s music has been described as a blend of techno, breaks, and melodic progressions, with a focus on creating a unique and immersive listening experience. Their music has been featured in various compilation albums, and the duo has performed at some of the Bay Area’s biggest underground events. With the release of their second EP, Womp-Life continues to push the boundaries of electronic music and establish them selves as one of the most innovative and exciting acts in the industry.
