From Jeremy:
"In 2011 I released The Bed You Made. Writing and recording the album during one of the most difficult periods of my life was quite the challenge, but I’m so grateful for the beauty that came from it. The incredible Ian Fitchuk and Justin Loucks produced the album. Everything those two touched was magical, and it’s been such an honor to make music with them through the years. We recorded the meat and potatoes at Sound Emporium Studios where Richie Lister, Will Sayles, Jeff Irwin and Court Clement were the core session players. We had several special guests stop by to lend their gifts including: Alison Krauss, Amy Grant, Jenny Gill, Mindy Smith, Peter Groenwald, Kate York, K.S. Rhoads, Josh Moore, Joy Shaw, Richard Lister Jr., the ghost of John Coltrane, and many more. There were tears, laughter and late night madness that went into the project, and I couldn’t be happier with the way it turned out.
I’ve always wanted to hear what this album would sound like on vinyl, and as luck would have it, my pal, Charles Rocha and his label Ring Records have offered to press some limited copies. To celebrate this, I thought it would be a great idea to get some of the folks who played on the album back together to perform it live once more. We will be playing the vinyl version from front to finish on June 23rd at Eastside Bowl in East Nashville. Many amazing special guests will be joining us for this."
Nashville’s Jeremy Lister started connecting with music while growing up in the middle of Mississippi. A son of a preacher, he began singing and learning harmonies in church at the age of two. Lister moved to Nashville in 2003, bringing his first EP, Shooting Star, with him. In 2005, he released his second EP, So Far, followed by the release of his Just One Day EP on Warner Bros. Records. That same year, he was invited to join the Ten Out of Tenn collective of singer/songwriters, which included then up-and-coming artists such as Andrew Belle, K.S. Rhoads, and Gabe Dixon.
