Description
DOORS 1PM // KITCHEN OPEN // SHOW STARTS 2PM
Paying homage to the legacy of Sir Elton Hercules John, 'Beltin’ Elton’ is a sing-along held together by sequins, charm, and (thank goodness) excellent song-writing. Bound to plummet face-first off the rails, and fly on feather boa wings, smack bang into your heart.
The one-woman production premiered as a lockdown dare and Nitida’s piano debut in January 2021. Originally intended as a one-off, the show packed Preston’s Ragtime Tavern to capacity every last Saturday of the month for almost two years!
Foremostly an original musician, Nitida announced the dare officially over in December 2022, to focus on her other projects (including the bombshell duo on the rise to stardom, ‘Don’t Thank Me, Spank Me!’). However, after the wild (incomparable) exhilaration of leading an entire room of punters Beltin’ Tiny Dancer at the absolute top of their lungs, it would be hard to resist the temptation to put on a last hoorah with an all-star band.
On Saturday February the 4rd Nitida takes the full band production of Beltin’ Elton to the beautiful Brunswick Ballroom! Combining Melbourne’s Yacht Rock extravaganza ‘Kahlua Breeze’ and Australia’s Hottest string section for whizz-bang Elton John spectacular, featuring YOU!
Learn the words or don’t. Sing along, or don’t. Dress up, or don’t. Whatever you do, come and get lost in the last 4 decades of the soundtrack to our lives!
