**THE WOGGLES**
For a band to not only last beyond 30 years together but keep scaling more imposing heights, it’s going to need a sense of purpose. In the case of The Woggles, the seasoned garage rockers past that milestone with a renewed rallying cry to move ever forward, despite the death of their lead guitar player Flesh Hammer aka Jeff Walls shortly before the pandemic took hold..
Currently The Woggles have several friends filling in on guitar, including Graham Day (The Prisoners, Solar Flares, Thee Mighty Caesars) and Shane Pringle (Tiger! Tiger!, Bad Spell) while the band looks for a new permanent member.
The band is touring in support of a new single Flesh Hammer b/w The Witch out on Wicked Cool Records (Steven Van Zandt’s label), inspired by the late guitarist.
The single is from an upcoming album featuring contributions on lead guitar from the likes of Steven Van Zandt, Graham Day, Shane Pringle, Peter Greenberg (Barrence Whitfield & The Savages), and Rick Miller (SCOTS).
**PALMYRA DELRAN & THE DOPPEL GANG**
The New Yorker (by way of Philadelphia) with a penchant for mod and Vespa scooter culture has recruited so many spies to conspire with on "Come Spy With Me" her latest self-produced tour de force of a platter with The Doppel Gang, released on Wicked Cool Records. Her next project, The Coolies, a supergroup combining Palmyra, Kim Shattuck, and Melanie Vammen (both of The Muffs and The Pandoras), released "Uh Oh! It’s The Coolies" to raise money for research and to raise awareness of ALS.
When she’s not writing, recording or touring, Ms. Delran brings the rock to the people as host of Palmyra’s Trash-Pop Shindig on Little Steven’s Underground Garage, broadcasting on Mon & Tue 4-7pm, Wed & Thurs 8pm-midnight, Sun 8am-noon, on SiriusXM. “I get to unleash the geek and not just bore my friends with music facts!”
PALMYRA DELRAN AND THE DOPPEL GANG is: Palmyra Delran – vocals, guitar; Michael Lynch - bass; Mark Brotter - drums; Bob Wojciechowski - guitar.
**MUCK & THE MIRES**
Boston's MUCK & THE MIRES were once described as “a mix of the 1964 Beatles and The Ramones” by legendary Runaways producer Kim Fowley (Fowley went on to produce several of the band’s records). The group achieved worldwide recognition after they were crowned #1 US Garage Rock Band by LITTLE STEVEN Van Zandt in his battle of the bands on MTV. They have performed coast-to-coast in the USA, UK, EU, South America, Canada, Japan. And they have shared bills with many of their heroes including The Sonics, The New York Dolls, Ray Davies (The Kinks), The Flamin' Groovies, The Stooges, and even a Beatle - Pete Best! The band’s lineup features founding members Muck (ex-Voodoo Dolls/The Queers) on vocals and guitar, Jessie Best on drums, Pedro Mire (ex-The Apehangers) on lead guitar and long-time bassist John Quincy Mire. When they are not on the road, you can hear Muck and the Mires being broadcast and streamed everywhere including in SIRIUS XM's Underground Garage's Coolest song in the world.
