For our next Good Room Members Party on August 6 we have some NY heroes to keep you dancing until dawn. Justin Strauss and Billy Caldwell bring their Love Tempo party to the main room, playing from open to close, while Rissa Garcia plays all night long in the Bad Room. Good Room residents Justin & Billy have been throwing their party Love Tempo since 2015 but their clubbing history goes back much further than that. Justin Strauss has been an NYC staple since the 80s, playing at iconic clubs like the Mudd Club, Limelight and Tunnel. Billy Caldwell grew up in the UK, spinning at the infamous Hacienda before moving to the US. Together, they bring decades and genres of music together across the balearic, house, cosmic, acid, leftfield and techno spheres. Rissa Garcia is a DJ, producer and label head and most importantly, a house head. Rinsing her vast stack of vinyl at clubs across NYC for the best part of two decades, she has long bagged a reputation as a driving force within local scene. Over the years she has shared the decks with icons Danny Tenaglia, Danny Krivit, Tony Humphries and Kenny Dope, just to name a few.
