MEGAN DIANA:
Songwriting driven by vintage keyboards, Megan Diana loves a Wurlitzer and Fender Rhodes - especially when put thru an echo pedal. She layers her lush voice in choral layers - going atmospheric at times and then all at once back to the center of her chest in a whisper. Her debut record - Women in My Head - written and dedicated to the important women in her life - (her beloved Grandma Mac graces the cover) allows her to bring in her French Horn in equal parts Canadian Brass and Chet Baker (if he played the F Horn). Some songs lean towards Dark Americana Noir, others clearly constructed pop- with a full band (and new her pedal steel player: Raymond Richards) things start to turn Western Flavor Florence Welch and have given life to her new genre - DREAM COUNTRY DISCO
CARAGOLD:
Caragold is an indie-rock band based out of Portland, OR. Finding himself in between projects, founding member Ross Charland retreated to a cabin in Glenwood Washington to write in solitude, usually for a week at a time. After enough trips, Charland had the foundation for an album, now set to release in July 2022.
Their music weaves between rock, pop, psych and disco. Most of the songs were conceived by Charland alone, at the cabin in Glenwood. As such, many of the songs deal with isolation, longing for love and internal struggle. The current lineup consists of Stevie Driscoll (Boreen) on drums, Colin Robson (Brother vs. Robot) on bass and Jason Taylor (Hard Yes, Vany Hans) on guitar.
DJ VELVET GINGER:
DJ Velvet GInger will Bring the Party! With a mainstay of their collection mostly consisting of Hip-Hop and Dance pop from the '80s, Disco has been a passionate focus of theirs as well. Constantly learning and honing their craft, spending time in the studio working on smooth transitions and whipping up new mixtapes. Keeping the craft of mixing vinyl alive, and helping people find new connections on the dancefloor. Commonly found digging for forgotten gems and other sonic satisfaction, in the dusty bins at the local record shops. Filling up record crates with stuff that makes their heart excited, and their booty shake!
