“[Duration is] the form which the succession of our conscious states assumes when our ego lets itself live, when it refrains from separating its present state from its former state.” - Henri Bergson
Public Records presents a new quarterly Sunday series, Durations, an all-day multi-instrumentalist exploration of sound as an intentional act of connection — an act not limited to the boundaries of body and mind.
Performances in The Sound Room include the New York sound artist and producer, Relaxer who will perform works from his critically acclaimed album concealer, as well as performances from Ulla (West Mineral) and Pan American (Kranky) with Ayurvedic brunch specials from Chef Jason Wood in the restaurant.
Supporting the series is our friends at Illegal Mezcal who have always championed independent artists of all fields and who supported our programming on PRTV during the pandemic.
Set an intention for the day and surrender to the multiplicity that is life with durations at 233.
