Event Details

THE BRALETTES are an Oak Cliff based band started by Paulina Costilla and Andy Cantu in 2015 when the two were Juniors in High School. Playing shows for nearly two full years without a single recording they enamored the local scene pushing them to attend a show just to hear that catchy song they vaguely remembered from a previous show. In 2017, the soundcloud releases of Friday and Party finally emerged giving their local fans recorded music. In January 2019, Cheers, the band's long awaited debut album was released and celebrated in Dallas marking the band's first sold out show. By 2020, the band had established themselves as a staple in the Dallas music scene performing at legendary venues such as: The Granada Theater, Trees, and Club Dada. In the midst of the global pandemic forcing the band into an indefinite hiatus, they released Jawbreaker EP in November of 2020. The Bralettes have resurfaced after a nearly two year indefinite hiatus and will be performing their first show back at Club Dada on December 27, 2021 benefitting The Afiya Center.
