This Halloween, Sunday October 31st, marks a very special Sunday Love as we celebrate our Closing Party at an off-site, open-air cemetery location, inviting all spirits, witches, goblins, and sprites to rejoice on this Halloween day and on the eve of Dia De Los Muertos. We take our dance floor to πΈπ πππππππππΎπ which opens its doors to our Sunday Lovers to dress up and dazzle, wander the mystical grounds, enjoy delicious libations, trick or treat the Love Bazaar vendors, and contribute offerings to our Sunday Love wellness shrine.
We will be joined by...
Lee Burridge. With a career spanning more than three decades, including a legendary Tyrant Soundsystem project along with Craig Richards and Sasha, Leeβs storytelling musical style has never stopped evolving.
Jennifer Cardini, who organizes the superlative Correspondant imprint, first cut her chops at Paris' Rex Club before taking her talents to Cologne, where Correspondant took form. In the years since, Cardini has cemented her place as a tastemaker in the global underground scene, stealing the hearts of many who fall in love on her dancefloors. Cardini has elevated to become a regular highlight at Mayyan Warrior, fabric, Berghain/Panorama Bar, and a host of other festivals the world over. She is joined by Danish trio, WhoMadeWho.
Boasting releases on Dj Tennisβ Life and Death, Kompakt, Maceo Plexβs Ellum Audio, and most recently Watergate, WhoMadeWho perform as live trio, DJ, or in this case, a Hybrid band combining various disciplines.
Lola Villa, an intersectional artist and activist exploring the human experience through sound and visuals. A true 80s child, Lola composes hypnotizing rhythms with folkloric and synth elements. Inspired by everything between big cities and rituals of her homeland, Colombia. An vivid advocate of radical inclusion and environmental responsibility in the music industry. She's an active member of DJs for Climate Action. Lola currently lives in Mexico City with her dog Aya.
Weβre excited to present this πΈπ πππππππππΎπ Closing Party and musical experience on the beautiful grounds of Washington DCβs Historic Congressional Cemetery. Presented by Sunday Love, Flash, and Forever And A Day.
