Description
“Twenty years is a very long time in music,” James Ruskin said of Blueprint Records five years ago. 25 years is even more of a moment – and to mark it, the influential U.K techno label takes to fabric for a Saturday night revelry.
This October they bring co-founder James Ruskin alongside techno leading-light DVS1, creative force Regis and GiGi FM to RM1. With dBridge presents Black Electric (Live), Machine Woman and a quintessential Skee Mask b2b with Zenker Brothers takes to RM2. RM3 is also open with Billy Allen, faux naïf and Karl O'Connor leading proceedings.
Blueprint has had an unparalleled impact on the UK techno scene since its formation in 1996, pioneering a distinct UK-led electronic sound. Ruskin founded the label with close friend and collaborator Richard Polson, and since Polson’s passing in 2006, Ruskin relaunched the label in 2009, going on to maintain high standards of releases and sticking true to its roots. There’s still plenty to come from the powerful techno imprint – and what a pleasure to be hosting their 25 Year celebrations.
