From Ray Rizzo
The heart of this show - or any show - is community. Because of this, we can't ignore that Covid still represents a health threat to our community, with the Delta variant adding unpredictable new twists in what it means to stay safe. We feel fortunate that this Sunday we will rock in the open air where transmissions are less likely. However, because the new variant is largely unknown and unpredictable, the artists and show presenters have had difficult talks about how to respond. It is difficult because our idea of community is inclusive and here we are talking about restrictions, and we are not of one mind about how best to respond to the present challenge. The bottom line is that we would not be able to live with ourselves if, in doing the work we are on earth to do, we contributed to even one person getting sick from this show, especially when we have the means to make choices that can prevent the likelihood of transmission and increase the safety in gathering. These hard decisions - and the time we are in - WILL PASS, but as of today, we are introducing some requirements for Sunday's show. We thank you for understanding and can't wait to play for you.
1) please present proof of vax or a negative Covid test from 48 hours at the door.
2) if you do not have proof of vax or a negative test result, consult this page for where you can get a free rapid test between Friday and Sunday.
If neither vaccination proof or negative covid test can be presented, we will refund your ticket and look forward to seeing you at the next show.
4) while in attendance, please wear a mask when in line for concessions or the bathroom.
5) Please spread out. Take advantage of the fact that our show is general admission and will not sell out. There is not an inch of the amphitheater where you won't be able to hear and see the music. We believe everyone can work together to be mindful of their neighbor's space and practice social distancing. But PLEASE NOTE this suggestion does not permit changing sections from what your ticket provides, meaning :
If you have tickets for the pavilion, spread out in the pavilion.
If you have tickets for the upper uncovered seats, spread out in the upper uncovered section.
Please consider those around you and do not claim space that will infringe on someone else's space.
The artists will be observing these measures as well. We are all in this together.
With love and harmony,
