Temple presents Cat Dealers
Formed by the brothers Lugui and Pedrão, Cat Dealers consolidates among the three biggest DJs/Producers of Brazil and represents today one of the biggest names in the international electronic scene. In 2020, for the fourth consecutive year, the duo entered the Top 100 of the world's biggest DJs by British magazine DJ Mag, in #52. They debuted on the list in 2017, just a year after the project started. In 2018, Cat Dealers got in Forbes 30 Under 30, which highlights promising young Brazilians in many areas, including music. In 2020, Cat Dealers signed to Armada Music, renowned Dutch label co-founded by DJ and Producer Armin Van Buuren and today it is responsible for the duo's international releases. In Brazil, the duo has their songs released by Sony Music. Internationally, the brothers have already played in all five continents and in more than 15 countries. With these tours, Cat Dealers has played at major festivals such as Nameless Music Festival, in Italy, DreamBeach, in Spain, S2O, in Thailand, and Medusa Festival, in Spain, for two consecutive years, where they opened for David Guetta in the 2018 edition. The brothers began 2020 with the announcement that they'd play on the mainstage at Tomorrowland Belgium, which had to be postponed due to the Covid-19 situation. They were then invited to participate in the festival's digital edition, Tomorrowland Around The World, which happened in July last year. In addition, they were also one of the attractions of the online festival of EDC Orlando, where they played a set directly from Tulum, Mexico. As for 2021, the duo was resident on Insomniac TV, where they presented an exclusive set every week, for over two months, created with the same 3D technology used by Tomorrowland Around The World. While in Brazil, the duo is the star of big festivals, like Lollapalooza, Rock In Rio, Ultra Brasil, and electronic parties, like Kaballah, Só Track Boa and Rio Music Carnival. In 2018, Cat Dealers was the special guest act in Shakira's tour in Brazil. They were also one of the main acts in the 2018 Copacabana New Year's Eve Party, their biggest audience so far, with more than 1M people celebrating. In 2019, Cat Dealers and Nicky Romero were headliners at one of the biggest clubs in the world, Laroc Club. Tickets sold out within five hours. Cat Dealers has over 950 million streams on its Spotify, Youtube, Soundcloud, Deezer and other streaming platforms. Among some of its first big hits, we can highlight "Your Body", "Gravity", "Sunshine" and "Ai Ai Ai", that together have more than 475 million plays. Another highlight is "Gone Too Long", collaboration with Bruno Martini and Joy Corporation, which received a platinum certificate in Brazil by Sony Music. Since signing with Armada Music in the second half of 2020, they have released "Save Me Now", at the end of last year, "Scars", in January this year, and, more recently, "Hypnotized", at the end of April 2021. The tracks mark a new sound style for the duo, influenced by Progressive House, and have been receiving support from big names in the scene, such as Martin Garrix, Tiësto, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Nicky Romero, among others. The brothers have also signed remixes for big names in the international music scene. In 2019, they were invited to remix "This Is How We Party", by R3HAB and Icona Pop, and "Don't Worry", an official remix released by the select label Axtone, from Swedish producer Axwell, being the first Brazilians to release by it. Recently, they released the official remixes for "Cold Feet", by Loud Luxury, "Who's Laughing Now", by Ava Max, "Carry On", by Martin Jensen, and "Stand By You", by DubVision and Pontifexx, which was released by Stmpd Rcrds, Martin Garrix's label. As for this year, the duo released the original remixes for Lushington's "You Got Me Baby" and "I Want Love", by Gryffin and Two Feet. Alongside Armada Music internationally and Sony Music in Brazil, Cat Dealers follows a consolidated release schedule for this year, with songs and partnerships already highly anticipated by fans.
