Spacebones:
It was summertime in Chicago and songwriter David Gates pulled over on Michigan Ave. when he heard drummer Robert Rashid playing on the street. The two became instant friends and co-founded Spacebones, a Chicago rock band. Now, alongside bassist Steve O’toole, and keyboardist Patrick Hubbard, Spacebones has released multiple musical projects, toured the country, and runs the DIY venue Hungry City out of their studio in Humboldt Park with rapper Woes.

Cold Beaches:
Cold Beaches is the psychedelic & romantic rock ‘n roll brainchild of DC-suburb native Sophia Nadia. Founded in Richmond, Virginia in 2015, Cold Beaches had very humble beginnings. Sophia Nadia recorded her first two records mostly by herself in her one-bedroom loft apartment in the Fan district. She then took Cold Beaches to the open road- touring North America extensively and continuing to develop her sound, inspired by the romance of the great cities. In 2017, Nadia moved to Chicago, Illinois and has since found a new line-up of city slickers allowing her to explore the limits of her songwriting and composition. Locked and loaded with an explosive psych-rock new sound while still retaining Sophia Nadia’s trademark honest, heart-filled lyrics and romantic, rhythmic guitar riffs, Cold Beaches is on a path to serenade the world one love song at a time.

Engine Summer:
Engine Summer is a 3-piece band that does more than groups double their size: Everyone writes, and everyone’s the lead singer. After meeting in high school shop class and 7 various DIY bands later, the 3 landed together in late 2016 in pursuit of an irreverent style of dancey-yet-krauty psych pop & punk. The rules they ride by are: only make music that excites them; every show leaves an impression; every song different from the last; no social media post too social.
