MAGIC GIANT
Called "the most festive band in the festival circuit," MAGIC GIANT has smashed charts with top 40 singles, amassed over 60M streams, and been named one of “10 Artists You Need to Know” by Rolling Stone.
Debuting only two years ago with their LP In The Wind, MAGIC GIANT, came out of the gates swinging, with TV appearances such as the Today Show, and Billboard singling them out as one of “10 Awesome Bands” playing Coachella. The group has been thrilling growing crowds at every stop along its 80-city North American and European tour.
With LA Weekly declaring them “Cool as Folk,” MAGIC GIANT’s initial single “Set on Fire” broke the top 25 on the US Alternative chart and top 5 on Spotify’s US Viral chart; its second single “Window” leaped into the Top 40 on Billboard’s Hot AC and Adult Pop charts; and the acoustic EP debuted in the iTunes Alternative top 25. Their latest single, “Disaster Party” is available now via S-Curve Records.
The group has played shows with the likes of Foster the People, Mumford & Sons, The Lumineers, and Vance Joy; toured with acts ranging from The Revivalists to Mike Posner; and performed to thousands at festivals around the continent, including Firefly, BottleRock, Electric Forest, and Lightning in a Bottle. Its style has been described by NPR as “upbeat, passionate indie-folk” and by Billboard as inspiring “mass dance-alongs.”
Not only does the trio write and produce their records, and direct and produce their videos, they go beyond the music: they committed to planting a tree through a non-profit partner with every album sold at shows, creating a mini forest already with thousands of trees; and throw an annual 4-day one-of-a-kind gathering in the California Redwoods for their fans called Camp Misfits.
The group, comprised of Austin Bisnow (lead vocals), Zambricki Li (viola, banjo, harmonica), and Zang (acoustic guitar, cello) uniquely recorded their debut LP from their solar-powered mobile recording studio while touring throughout the US, and are currently recording their second studio album from The Bunker, a 1940’s underground bomb-shelter the band converted in Silverlake, CA. Catch MAGIC GIANT live on their upcoming co-headline tour with American Authors, kicking off January 16th.
