Description
We invite you to participate in a unique immersive visual art adventure from the mind of filmmaker Cyrus Sutton. I AM THIS Geodesic Theater Experience takes footage from Sutton’s most recent film I AM THIS. By mixing stunning visuals and projecting the film inside a geodesic dome, viewers are enveloped in a mystical 360-degree world. This thought-provoking sensory art illustrates our connection to earth, nature, and each other.
Sutton will be taking this experiential event to select cities across the US. You can check it out in October at Wisdome.LA, as part of Guayakí Yerba Mate’s “Come To Life: LA” campaign. It will be shown Thursday-Sunday for the first four weeks of October. More information at www.guayaki.com/events.
Please check the ticket options to confirm screening dates & times.
** A New Día Exhibition (21+) **
A New Día is a sensorial experience that pays homage to Mexican roots and the beloved traditions of the country. A New Día transports the creative spirit of Mexico to the United States, reimagining the cultural celebration of Día de Muertos.
“I’ve always been fascinated by natural patterns and the commonality between everything from galaxies to atoms. Humans are pattern readers, we look for familiar shapes to create meaning out of the world around us. Through a series of spiritual experiences over the years I was able to briefly see what seemed like the connections that physicists and mathematicians describe. I’ve always wanted to share these feelings through film and this is my first attempt. I am fortunate to have had the help of talented friends to help bring this to life” - Director Cyrus Sutton
This film was made possible with the support of Guayakí Yerba Mate - a founding B Corporation whose vision holds that yerba mate culture will power our Market Driven Regeneration™ business model to regenerate ecosystems and create vibrant communities.
