This month we welcome Emily Ho, recipient of an International Prize for her book 'Memoirs of an Ice-Cream Lady', as our next guest writer.
"This charming story of an ice-cream parlor in Hong Kong's Lamma Island is a whimsical mixture of crazy characters, wise sayings, anecdotes, history and fantasies. A story of love and betrayal, told simply and straight from the heart." - Patricia W. Grey, author of Death Has A Thousand Doors (2011).
We look forward to having a group discussion with Emily as well as the usual open mic for writers. Bring your friends and invite literature enthusiasts!
Date: 24 September 2019
