Description
You are cordially invited to NiK Kacy Presents "UNITY", the 2nd Annual Equality Fashion Week Opening Gala Brought To You By FLUX, Powered By AIDS HealthCare Foundation.
Equality Fashion Week (EFW) is the 1st LGBTQ+ focused Fashion Week in Los Angeles consisting of a 4-day experience of LGBTQ+ talent showcased via B2C pop-up experiences, talent meet-n-greets, designer fashion displays, plus an exclusive one-night-only, high-end opening night fashion show during LA Fashion Week in October. This event is for the opening gala and official gala after-party only on Sunday, October 13th, 2019 at the historic Globe Theatre.
Order your tickets now as we have several tiers of assigned but limited seating tickets, as well as general admission seats plus GA standing room only tickets as well. If you can't make the show, you can also come for the After-Party only! This venue is gorgeous and the runway/stage is raised so every seat in the house is a great view! At the After-Party, all seats (with exception to bottle service booths and tables) will be removed for the dance party.
(Note: The 3-day pop-up experience is open from Monday, Oct 14 to Wednesday, Oct 16th at 4870 W Adams Blvd. Los Angeles, CA 90016 from 11am - 6pm each day. We will add the link to tickets for that event soon here.)

WHY EFW?
EFW creator and event producer NiK Kacy is dedicated to the local and global LGBTQ+ community in raising awareness, visibility, education and supporting the community at large through economic and social development. Kacy, who identifies as non-binary and uses the pronouns they/them/theirs, had attended and presented their footwear and accessories line at queer fashion shows in other cities, but not Los Angeles until they created EFW last year.
Per Kacy: “As a community, lesbian, transgender, and queer members are the most under-represented of the group and often not visible to the mainstream and even within our own community. My hope for EFW is to continue to develop a week-long event each year to give a platform for queer artists and designers to not only express themselves, but also help create awareness and financial opportunities for them.”
