Westend
Some kids grow up by the beach and you guessed it, they want to be surfers. Others grow up by a raceway and go figure, want to sell candy. WESTEND grew up in mother f**king New York City baby and guess whathe didn't go to the beach and he didn't sell candy.
New York City, a city of underground musical innovators. Naturally, A WESTEND dreamt of the day he would see his name on fliers stapled to telephone poles and tucked under windshield wipers.
But dreams mean nothing without actionso he stayed inside (it was either too hot or too cold to leave the house in any case) and learned all he could as any young hustler would.
And learn he did. And the kid got good...real good. People started to listen. But not just anyone. People like Claude Von Stroke, Justin Martin, Oliver Heldens, Shiba San, Walker & Royce and Martin Solveig. Big people ya see.
As did the labelshis demos got heardthey got signed.
Drum roll please...DIRTYBIRD, CLUB SWEAT, AUDIOPHILE XXL, BOX OF CATS, SWEAT IT OUT!
Then they got chartedwith a Beatport number one (future house) for his GYRATE EP (clap clap) and a Beatport top 5 (tech-house) with his EXCUSES EP.
Zendlo
On June 1, 2018, Zendlo (Taylor Pierce) broke into the industry after six years of dedicated producing. His first official release, “Heavy Metal,” with “The Sunday Club” blasted him into the scene as the track charted on Beatport and appeared on Spotify’s “Housewerk” playlist. Since releasing "Heavy Metal” on Strangelove Recordings, he has released on Insomniac Records, Audiophile XXL, Arkade, Country Club Disco, Psycho Disco!, House of Hustle, and more. With support from Kaskade, Kyle Watson, Walker & Royce, Golf Clap, Treasure Fingers, Codes, Sage Armstrong and many others, he's an
artist to watch out for.
