Description
August Ramblin’ Nights is set to be a huge night of the dark & stormy kind with Sydney’s best tenebrous rock act JD And The Hunger Men and Northern Rivers enigmatic performer M.E. Baird
It was late 2017 when Johnny Wishbone, lead singer of Sydney favourites the snowdroppers, filled out 96 pages of ridiculous paperwork to legally change his name to JD. In doing so he’s also the first bloke post Snowies to dust off the cobwebs and release some solo material, introducing JD AND THE HUNGER MEN. A tenebrous rock act that saddles up the sounds of the highway, the lowlands and all those strange places between.
In Nov 2018, M.E.BAIRD released his 5th album titled ‘TIME’ and Ramblin’ Nights is privileged to snag him on his only Sydney show on his current album launch tour.
“Deeply evocative, M.E.Baird is driven by emotion. Whether in the carefully crafted lyrics or the music itself, emotion drips from everywhere, it trickles down walls and pools on the floor. It aches and hurts…and it’s beautiful.” Rhythms Magazine, Australia.
