The Desert Sea
In true rock n roll fashion; The Desert Sea came from humble beginnings – three long-time friends, a case of beer and a guitar-fueled jam session that would be etched in their neighbours memories for years to come. Since then the Sydney based band has been blasting out a mix of blues, hard rock and grunge, that was once described as being “the love child of The Black Keys and Soundgarden”.
Since their inception The Desert Sea has embarked on multiple tours of Australia’s east coast, developing a loyal fan base and a reputation for high-energy live performances. Their unique blend of raw yet soulful vocal melodies, earthy riffs and chest pounding drums have shaken the walls of iconic venues in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Byron Bay and everything in between. Their passion for music and hard work have seen The Desert Sea share the stage with some of Australia’s finest acts including Sticky Fingers, Ash Grunwald, The Fumes and Jebediah.
Currently preparing to record a third EP to follow up their Oceanic and Steal the Light from the Sun EP’s, the bands previous singles ‘Reflection’, ‘Settle The Score’, ‘Elevator’ and ‘All Mine’ have received rave reviews globally, radio play from Triple J, Fbi and community stations Australia wide as well as airplay from both UK and US radio.
The Dead Riders
Stone Age rock n roll with a little heavy duty motor oil on top. Don't miss it.

Best described as "Oddly Timed Stoner Jazz Rock with a Dash of Goth", Sydney's Magnus spearheaded by enigmatic frontman Arne Heeres are back with "Humbugger", their second single from forthcoming album Detachment.
Eerie, bass driven verses crash into white knuckle driving vocal melodies, "Humbugger" treads the line between the head-banging of a live show and a psych rock bliss out. Lyrically written as a personal call to arms and a reminder to be yourself, when writing the song Arne reflected on what influenced him and how to carve your own path.
"Growing up, you’re influenced by the people around you and the ones you admire. You have to make up your mind who you want to be, find what defines you. This song needed to be written to remind myself to live, not slip into the comfortable vegetable patch. Creep into the mind, talk to the characters who live there, confront the ones that haunt you, nurture the ones you need, mould yourself into that true version of you." - Arne Heeres
After the success of their debut record "I" Arne was convinced their sophomore album needed to have an “all-or-nothing” approach so they shot their demos out around the world to people they admire and wanted to work with and sparked interest from big names like Steve Albini, Alan Moulder & Bob Clearmountain.
After visiting a number of highly regarded studios in London, the band decided to record in former INXS studio The Grove Studios, where both DZ Deathrays and courtney barnett moulded recent releases. With much discussion and toying with different celebrated industry icons Magnus' second album was recorded with Five time ARIA award winning producer / engineer Paul McKercher featuring COG’s Lucius Borich Drums on drums. It promises an even more raw and visceral approach all the while including the unexpected twists and turns Magnus. have become known for. Both Paul McKercher and the legendary Bob Clearmountain (Grammy winner, USA - Rolling Stones, Springsteen, The Preatures) have been mixing songs and Brian Gardner, Recording Academy / GRAMMYs winner and known for Queens of the Stone Age's Songs for the Deaf album, mastering the album.
