Event DetailsTo kick off the string of huge parties we have lined up over the colder months, when its darker earlier and the dance floors are cozier, we're bringing these two masters of their craft to the dance.
Jacques is a DJ/Producer from Washington D.C. who lives and works in Brooklyn. Jacques, along with friend Nik Mercer, curates a series of events called Let's Play House. The duo has brought in guests such as Horse Meat Disco, Mugwump, Rub 'N' Tug, Nicholas, the Revenge, Tiger & Woods, and Todd Edwards. Let's Play House is a moving party that uses Brooklyn warehouses, Manhattan ballrooms, hotel lounges, and everything in between for its regular events. LPH is also a record label which boasts a roster including Fantasic Man, Bicep, COEO, DJ Boring and many more
As a DJ, he has been a guest around the globe in venues like Tokyo's Womb, Rio's D-edge, London's Fabric and Plastic People, and Berlins Berghain/Panorama Bar. With his remixes, edits, original tracks, and collaborative project Runaway, he has released music on internationally acclaimed New York labels DFA, Chinatown, RVNG INTL, Throne of Blood, Italians Do It Better, Editions Disco, and Wurst, London/Berlin's Rekids, and our very own Sydney's Hole In The Sky and Future Classic
There are few record spinners in Sydney that elicit the same reaction from crowds as much as DJ Simon Caldwell does.
Simon has supported (on the same stage) a list of internationals longer than your arm, including Theo Parrish, James Brown, DJ Sotofett, Todd Terje, Rolando, Herbert, Claude Young, Maurice Fulton, Grace Jones, Derrick Carter, Vakula, Moodymann, Actress, Onra, Moritz von Oswald, Charles Webster, Fred P and Frankie Knuckles, to name just a few. He currently holds down Monday Sunset on FBI Radio, and is resident/co-promoter of Mad Racket, a Sydney underground party institution running since 1998.
