: : : THEME : : :
Taking inspiration from the royal court feasts of the French Baroque period, Rethink Food NYC has partnered with House of Yes to throw an event meant to challenge the way we as a society think about excess.
Throughout most of history, excess has been depicted as something sought after and glorified. Rather than something to be wasted, we believe excess should be given a second purpose whenever possible.
Enjoy sustainable drinks, live music, and event programming produced by we are SUPERNATURAL and A la Minuit.
: : : REFRESHMENTS : : :
Tickets to the event come with (2) drink tickets for any of our specialty cocktails, mocktails or beer. Drinks generously donated by our partners in sustainability; Perrier, Absolut, The Better Pop, ice C.R.E.E.M social, head + heel, BDK BEV, Bronx Brewery, White Moustache, Bohana, and Repurposed Pod!

Rethink Food NYC is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that collects excess food from restaurants, farms, events, and food vendors to create new meals for those in need. Founded in 2017, Rethink strives to creatively and safely utilize excess food to end hunger by distributing delicious, ready-to-eat and nutritionally dense meals to local soup kitchens and community centers. Rethink partners with renowned restaurants such as Eleven Madison Park, Gramercy Tavern, and the NoMad, urban farms such as Square Roots and Gotham Greens, and leading financial institutions. Additionally, Rethink Food goes beyond meals by using food as a tool to promote poverty solutions, participate in nutrition education, and convene at food policy events.
