Who said summer is over? Coming up for our Monthly RA+RE Thursday September 20th , we have decided to do something a little different to end the summer wave before we get into the fall and break the pattern just a bit. For this event we are going to be host for our friend Connie who will be celebrating her remix on a new release and because its a special day for her we have decided to let her take over the decks and pick her partner in crime for the night ! Connie Yin has been a major contributor to New York City's underground electronic scene for over a decade. With a deep fluid mix of forward thinking 4/4 styles and a defined rhythmic sensibility that flows from her alter ego as a thumping rock drummer. Connie is a steady crowd favorite and will be taking over the decks along Carlos Alkalinal, a BOY, A what? a BOY! Because WE LOVE BOYS too, and he is one of the artist of the release they will be celebrating that evening. Alkalina's story is one that spans 8 years of making forward strides in the Electronic Music Scene in NYC. During his dj career hes been involved with Minimal-Tech, Techno, House, Deep House, Tech-House and Minimal House. His music selection and sequence of sounds while mixing are very unique on the dancefloor We really hope to see all you RA+RE Dance Machines there for this rare occasion and although its not our release we are celebrating theirs with them!
