MAKO, the duo of Logan Light and Alex Seaver, may come from different worlds, but its clear that together they have grown far beyond the sum of their parts. Seaver studied classical music at New York's famed Juilliard, while Light, spent his college years DJing in the Midwest, opening for the likes of Avicii and Tiesto. MAKO's first single 'Beam' on Hardwell's Revealed label crashed the Billboard Dance chart at #2, while their second single 'Our Story' was heralded as the Essential New Tune by BBC Radio's godfather, Pete Tong. For number three the boys have teamed up with another icon, Steve Angello, for "Children Of The Wind', quite an opening trifecta for these fast rising talents. On paper they might be the odd couple, but this pairing of classical training with a DJ's sense of the dance-floor, has resulted in MAKO being one of America's most promising emerging acts.
