Description
Ellen Allien is one of the most important figures in the German electronic music scene. Growing a global reputation as a DJ and producer in the mid 1990's, Ellen Allien founded her label BPitch Control in 1999, creating a hub of techno, house and diverse electronic music. As a DJ, sourcing music for 25 years, Ellen Allien has enormous skill and resource. A techno lover from the start, it is her musical core, the running theme through her varied sets. Ellen comfortably blends and weaves a hypnotic pattern of her style of techno, acid house, minimal jams, abstract electro and freaky house slammers. Absorbing the space and the energy of the dancers, she creates something mysterious and progressive for the there and then. Extraterrestrial Allien Dance is taking place.
She will be joined by Discwoman's Volvox. A dominant force on the Brooklyn underground scene, Ariana is known for tough, stripped-back techno and groovy, acid-flavored sets. Lights Down Low are taking over the Bad Room with party founders Corey Sizemore & Richie Panic. California dance music institution Lights Down Low has been entertaining creatures of the night for over 10 years, throwing parties in the Bay Area, Los Angeles and beyond, pushing techno, industrial/EBM favorites or weirdo freak outs.
