Marques words on Nick: About a year ago Louie Vega recommended I bring Nick down to play at DEEP to play along side him at an event we had coming up. Louie’s Remix of Nick’s “Sample Your Soul” on Vega Records was already a DEEP anthem. Unfortunately, I didn’t feel it was the right time and venue. I did learn that he was close by in SF, so had every intention make it happen when the time was right. After playing at the Crew Love party a couple weeks ago, I walked into the room where Nick was playing after listening to and witnessing him take the crowd deep into his aural odyssey, I thought to myself, “I need to get him to DEEP, soon”. So here we are. Nick indeed has the goods, so do join us in welcoming him to our “Sanctuary” as he makes his DEEP debut.
