It's rare that Dave Siska doesn't play a set like this - a tribute to his time deeply involved in Chicago's sweat-drenched loft parties and burgeoning techno club scene, and his devotion to the sounds of Detroit and its most diverse DJs. He co-hosts the Sonic Sunset mixshow - which just celebrated its 15th year of taking in a wide swath of dance music, and through a scarcely definable but undeniable common thread, making it mean something as a unified whole.
