Description
McDonald Theatre is a theater and music venue in Eugene, Oregon, United States. Opened in 1925 as a movie house, the building was converted to a theater for performing arts, and is still in business. The theater is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Eugene's best indoor venue for live music, featuring mostly nationally touring bands, and local flavor too!
In accordance with the state’s removal of the mask mandate, starting Saturday, March 12, the McDonald Theatre will lift the masking requirement and will no longer require proof of Covid vaccination or negative test. Patrons are welcome and encouraged to continue wearing masks, and the Oregon Health Authority suggests that people at higher risk for Covid wear a mask in indoor public spaces. We will continue to have complimentary masks available for patrons at the front entrance. These policies are subject to change with little notice, as directed by local and state public health authorities. Updates on show specific requirements will be sent to customers via the email address associated with their TicketsWest account. Please continue to check our website for policy changes at mcdonaldtheatre.com. Thank you for your continued support.

Kesey Enterprises is owned and operated by the Kesey family, well-known locally and nationally because of Ken Kesey, the iconic writer and prankster, and the Springfield Creamery, a successful business located in Eugene that produces the popular Nancy's Yogurt brand.
The Kesey family began to produce events under the business name Field Trip Productions back in 1972 with the historic Springfield Creamery Benefit concert featuring The Grateful Dead. The Kesey Family were also instrumental in producing The Grateful Dead concerts in Eugene's Autzen Stadium during the 80's and 90's.
In 2001 Kesey Enterprises Inc was formed to produce concerts and community events in the historic McDonald Theatre in downtown Eugene. The historical building was ultimately purchased by Kesey Enterprises, and the McDonald Theatre is now one of the most successful live music venues in the state.
With the success of the McDonald Theatre, Kesey Enterprises expanded its event production services to include the lease and management of the 5,000 capacity Cuthbert Amphitheater, as well as the management of the Eugene Celebration, the Oregon southern valley's largest and most celebrated 3-day community festival.
