In the beating heart of Brussels, La Madeleine is making a show-stopping comeback! With a flexible capacity of 400-1400 seats, it can host all kinds of shows from Pop/Rock to easy-listening, from the French Chanson to international Jazz, as well as Stand Up & Comedy… Its charm, architecture, acoustics and warm welcome make it one of a kind! There is no doubt that La Madeleine has a great many endearing features, including its unique design, with its double flight of metal staircases surrounding a small stage, and a long corridor running all around the room. Designed to be modular, the venue allows an eclectic concert programme covering a range of musical styles, music hall shows, stand-up, etc. But it can also put on shows for several weeks, in the heart of the capital, giving a further boost to Brussels’ cultural credentials and appeal, and meeting a demand from the professionals for a venue of this capacity. This quirky hall with its long history is currently pursuing a substantial and ambitious project of its own that sets out to further develop the events programme and the attractiveness of the city centre. The City of Brussels, the infrastructure owner, has entrusted its management to the Brussels Expo Group, which is already the owner of the Palais 12 concert hall and has 85 years of experience in infrastructure management.
