Based in Honolulu, Willis Haltom is a dj, club owner, and music producer who continues to push qualty dance music to the people.
Since opening Asylum with his partners in 2008 he has been able to play with some of dance music’s most exciting and forward thinking producers. Names like Juan Atkins, Paul Woolford, Martin Buttrich, Claude Vonstroke, DJ T., Justin Martin,
Pan Pot, Lee Foss, Benoit & Sergio, Heartthrob, Bill Patrick, MR.C , Danny Howells, Tanner Ross, Sian, have all graced the decks and Willis has been blessed to play with them as well.
2010 was a breakout year for Willis, which included playing dates at Spybar in Chicago, 222 Hyde and the Endup in San Francisco, and the famed Culprit Sessions parties atop the Standard hotel in Los Angeles. 2011 was also a groundbreaking year for Asylum as well being named the #60 club in the world by DJMAG.
2012 continued to bring new adventures in djing including dates in Detroit, Frankfurt, Denver, and San Fransicso and another top 100 placing at #50 and a feature in DJMAG WMC issue with the Asylum residents. Willis also with the help of Lopazz remixed Justin Martin's the Gurner for DIRTYBIRD RECORDS to finish off the year.
2013 started off with a bang playing with Mr.C at Asylum on NYE and the release of I FEEL LOVE by lopazz with Willis Haltom & Higher Concept remix on Get Physical. Asylum was once again was voted into the top 100 clubs placing #77 and putting a firm stamp in dance music history in the world for 3 years in a row.
Forthcoming remixes on Get Physical and an EP on RIFF RAFF for 2013 and the launch of Asylum Confidential, the label of Asylum Afterhours means it's about to be a very busy year.
