Description

TYR aka Grant R is an 18 year old up and coming producer from Ls Vegas, who has relocated to Boulder, Colorado, one of the major "hot beds" of electronic music. His debut into the blog scene began with the release of his first EP Eclipse, which took off after being featured on big sites such as Fresh New Tracks. Following this, TYR didn't slow down at all, quickly releasing a remix of Chris Brown's Look At Me Now, which was featured on the prominent site This Song is Sick. Shortly after, TYR remixed Avicii's infamous song "Levels", which exploded into the scene and gathered 34 thousand plays on his soundcloud alone. TYR has many successful remixes under his belt. One of the most stand out of these is his entry to the Chuckie "What Happens In Vegas" remix competition. Although it did not win, his remix has racked up well over a million cumulative plays, continues to get posts and has even surpassed the original in plays on youtube. Having performed on stage with acts such as Mt Edne, Ill Gates, Nit Grit, Glad Kill and An-ten-nae, TYR has shown that he can play with the big names and has a very fruitful career ahead. He also has received support from the incredibly influential artist Moby (who posted the track on his facebook page) on his remix of the famous track "Flower." Recently, TYR released a new all original EP called "Nudity & Esponage," which has received blog hype from countless sites and a full page feature on Earmilk.com.
