This eclectic Dj/ Producer duo was formed in 2009 and founded by Edgar Candel Kerri and Cumhur Jay. THE ZOMBIE KIDS has been making noise and shaking up the dance scene since their arrival and show and prove with every performance why this group is special and one of a kind.
Edgar and Jay have extensive musical background which they also incorporate into today's electronic dance scene. Their musical influences hail from punk, soul, rock & hip-hop which they all mesh together creating 'THE ZOMBIE KIDS' sound in today’s electronic dance scene. This year THE ZOMBIE KIDS has added another addition to the group: MC AMBUSH, the 3rd pillar to the group which makes the ensemble complete and also dubbed as 'the voice' of THE ZOMBIE KIDS. AMBUSH has worked closely with some of EDM biggest stars like R3hab, Afrojack, David Guetta and vocals on the smash hit with Hardwell & Chuckie 'Move it to the drum'. This addition to THE ZOMBIE KIDS brings a very energetic and powerful performance every time these guys touch the stage or the studio.
2013 has been a prosperous year for THE ZOMBIE KIDS, touring worldwide along with releases and productions keeps the group active all year. Starting the year off at Ultra Music Festival South America, Tours in Colombia, sold out summer tour. Through their home country of Spain and ending the summer in Bali and Kuala Lumpur, shows that THE ZOMBIE KIDS is already taking the stage worldwide.
Their 1st album released in 2012 topped the iTunes charts in Spain and also garnered them an MTV Europe Award for 'best Spanish artist'. Their single 'Face' hit over 2million hits on YouTube which gained them much national media attention which has also been featured in movies and soundtracks.
THE ZOMBIE KIDS debuted at Rock in Rio Festival (Lisbon 2010) and since then, have been at many recognized festivals such Global Gathering (Birmingham), Exit (Serbia), Creamfields (Spain), Sonar (Spain), Pukkelpop (Belgium), Arenal Sound (Spain), DxB Festival (Dubai), I Love Techno (France), SOS (Spain), BBK (Spain), MTV Beach (Spain), Aquasella (Spain), Festival del Globo (Mexico) or Emerging Indian (Mexico). They are also summer residents of some of the best clubs in the world such as Amnesia, Space and Privilege (Ibiza) or Razzmatazz (Barcelona).
