Formed in 2005, Robot Love started when Eron Surdam and Evan Ross met at as undergraduates at USC. Initially, Robot Love grew out of the Los Angeles underground as a live experimental electronic act, using an array of synthesizers, beat machines, turntables, guitars, and beat-boxing to gain a reputation as prolific dancefloor rockers. By playing packed shows alongside such legends as Talib Kwali, Pete Rock, and Blackalicious. In 2008 they entered the dance realm and imposed themselves on the scene by starting their own event/artist collective, DANCEiSM.
Shining through LA’s scene isn’t any easy thing---Robot Love has done so with the musical taste, talent & tenacity that blows up the dance floor time and time again. As sonic and aesthetic connoisseurs obsessed with design and innovation, they show an unashamed irreverence to genre boundaries. It is almost impossible to pin their style as solely one thing. Together they fuse a trademark booty-rompin’ sound of their own. With original track releases, 3-d and live performances in the works, the sky is the limit for how high these two can go
