Graeme Duffy, better known by the stage name PhaseOne, is a versatile electronic music producer and DJ from Sydney, Australia. PhaseOne has asserted himself as one of the most consistent and significant talents to emerge from the Australian bass music scene in the last few years. He first became prevalent as PhaseOne in 2013, already having a strong knowledge in music production. Over the past 10 years prior, he’d produced and engineered local bands and artists for a living as well as his own projects & aliases. Since then he has made a name for himself internationally with his head turning original productions and remixes, combining a unique blend of hard hitting bass music with a rock/metal influence. In 2014 he won the Disciple Recording’s Virtual Riot Remix Competition. Later that year he was signed to Datsik’s label Firepower Records. With Firepower he released two chart topping original EP’s; ‘Touching The Stars’, which reached #2 on the Dubstep Beatport charts, and ‘Matter Of Time’, reaching #1 on the Dubstep Beatport charts. He has also released singles and remixes through renowned labels such as Disciple, Rottun, Kannibalen & Buygore. He has collaborated with well known artists BAR9 and Protohype all to great critical acclaim. PhaseOne has shared the stage with some of the biggest names in the industry. He has toured Australia and New Zealand twice, headlining venues across both countries promoting the launch of his two EP’s. Towards the end of 2015 he toured Europe & Canada, again headlining well know venues. PhaseOne’s music has been played and supported by some of the biggest names in the industry such as Skrillex, Datsik, Excision, Bassnectar, Snails, Barely Alive and Virtual Riot to name a few. With a handful of exciting projects in the works, and his recent signing to U.S booking agency ‘Warpath Group’ 2016 is looking to be his biggest year yet.
