Neutro Shorty (real name Carlos José Caro) is a Venezuelan rapper and singer who has become one of the leading figures in the Latin music industry. He is best known for his collaborations with J Balvin, Bad Bunny, Karol G, Ozuna, and Anuel AA. Early Life & Career Beginnings
Neutro Shorty was born on April 15th, 1990 in Caracas, Venezuela. He started his career as an underground rapper but would eventually transition to the Latin pop scene. In 2013 he released his debut single titled “Más Que Una Amiga” which was met with great success in Venezuela. Rise to Fame
In 2016 Neutro Shorty released his first studio album titled “El Neutro” which featured three singles; “Me Gusta”, “Seguiré” and “Tengo Que Decir”. The album debuted at number one on the Venezuelan Albums chart and certified platinum by the Venezuelan Recording Industry Association. He followed up with the release of his second studio album “La Noticia 2” in 2018 which featured the hit single “La Noche” which was certified gold by the Venezuelan Recording Industry Association. In 2019 Neutro Shorty collaborated with J Balvin on the song “Morado” which peaked at number one on the Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart. He also collaborated with Bad Bunny on the track “Krippy Kush Remix” which peaked at number two on the Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart. In 2020 he released the single “Cara de Buena Gente” which became a viral hit in Venezuela and reached number two on the Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart.
