MRAK is the solo project and alter ego of Italian DJ and producer Carmine Conte, known globally as one half of the duo Tale Of Us and co-founder of the Afterlife record label. MRAK's sound fuses ambient textures, techno structures, and a cinematic scope to create dark, meditative, and immersive soundscapes. His music is emotionally driven and aims to translate feelings and memories into audio form. His live performances blend futuristic lighting with analog machinery, often featuring improvisation and digital sequences, inspired by composers like Vangelis.
