Marcelo’s interest in electronic music begun when he was around 16 years old. His cousin was the resident DJ from a local club and used to give Marcelo the records he has already played for too long. This way, Vasami got interested at first in disco and house music, and when he finally listened to progressive house that’s when he fell in love. Djing came as second nature to him and soon enough so was producing. His main influences where from DJ’s and electronic bands that had as a similirity dark, tribal and hipnotic sounds. Marcelo has become a DJ with international reach, by already playing at India, Indonesia, Tunis, Bulgaria, Mexico, Costa Rica, Brazil, Uruguay and Paraguay. So far, he had shared booth with international talented DJ’s such as Pole Folder, Neil Quigley, Osamu M, Anthony Pappa, Dominik Eulberg, Sandra Collins, Anil Chawla andmany others. As a producer, Vasami receives constant support from DJ’s all over the globe such as Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Guy J, Eelke Kleijn, Anthony Pappa, Microtrauma, Cid Inc, Robert Babbicz, Quivver, Henry Saiz and Jimmy Van M, just to name a few.
