Born Carlos Ariel Peralta multitalented super producer Maffio was brought to the United States at the age of three. His first performance was at the age of six when he played Fleur De Lis by Beethoven in the school auditorium. According to Maffio since he ever remembers he always wanted to dedicate his life to music.
He plays Percussion and knows the theory behind all existing music instruments in the world. Autodidactic musician Maffio posess the ability to create Hip Hop, R&B, Jazz, Pop, Salsa, Merengue, Reggae, Reggaeton, Dancehall among other rhythms. Maffio was raised between Dominican Republic and New York, this helped him absorbed a multicultural influence, which is reflected in his musical creations. Maffio works for: "El Vacilon De La Manana" Mega 97.9 in New York, "El Punto" La Calle 105.9 in New York, "The Luis Jimenez Show" Univision Radio nationwide, Chosen Few Emerald, MP Records (now J&N Records), HM Studios, Pequeno Infante Productions, etc. Maffio Produced the song "Mi Alma Se Muere" Fuego feat. Pitbull and Omega, the song was positioned on the Billboard charts for 22 weeks on the top 20s in two categories, Latin Rhytnm and Tropical Airplay.
