By being on rosters at respected labels such as Eskimo, Correspondant, hfn music, Mirau, Compost Black and Plant Music and releasing the hit singles "Young Again" and "Heaven" from his sophomore album "Standing on top of Utopia" (which included remixes by Prins Thomas and Nicolas Jaar, that recieved support by everyone from Seth Troxler to Tim Sweeney), Kasper has positioned himself as one of the most renowned and versatile Danish contributors to the international electronic music scene; both as a Dj and producer.
Kasper Bjorke is undoubtedly one of the most renowned and versatile Danish producers on the international electronic music scene.
His fourth critically acclaimed solo album After Forever was released on September 22nd 2014; with Clash Music stating "'Kasper Bjorke definitely makes art. Each production feels assured with the Scandinavian impacting a genuine sense of the cerebral into his music" and with other medias such as MixMag highlighting the 4th single Apart (feat. Sisy Ey) as Tune of the Month and saying "It's nothing short of genius... Kasper's absolutely nailed it", this record has certainly proven itself to be his most potent work yet. "Apart" was even #1 on Beatports own chart of Best Indie Dance of 2014. On After Forever, Kasper has moved away from his 70s disco inspired sound, exploring new terrain in contemporary, melancholic synth pop; with his productions merging themselves into a multi coloured soundscape with echoes from Post Disco/Punk, Kraut and New Wave.
Since 1999 Kasper has released music on respected labels like Eskimo, Correspondant, Relish, Compost Black Label, Mirau, etc. and his latest two equally applauded long players 'Standing on top of Utopia' (2010) and 'Fool' (2012) was put on the circuit via German hfn music.
Hfn music also released the expansive remix compilation Remix Crusades (2007 - 2013), showcasing Kaspers broad spectrum as a remixer: from established underground artists like Wareika and Rebolledo to international pop acts like Moby.
When it comes to DJing, Kasper has performed at countless gigs all over the planet such as: Panorama Bar and Watergate in Berlin, Rex and Social Club in Paris, Robert Johnson in Frankfurt, D-Edge in Sao Paolo, Fabric in London, Cielo, Le Bain and Output in New York, Electric Pickle in Miami and international festivals like Sonar, Roskilde Festival, Iceland Airwaves and Calvi on the Rocks. Back home in Copenhagen, he has a special place in his heart for Culture Box, the longest running nightclub in town.
Occasionally Kasper joins forces with icelandic friend Sexy Lazer to become camp outfit The Mansisters. They released their debut "E.P. Phone Home (EP)" on Canadian My Favorite Robot Records in 2012 and has since then released weirdo dark dance via Correspondant and Relish Recordings.
Besides handling his own artist career, Kasper also manages Trentemoller.
Kaspers received two Danish Music Awards (Danish Grammy) for Best Producer and Best Dance Release and most recently produced the solo album 'Polyester Skin' (2016) for the Danish artist Jacob Bellens.
The DJs and ravers have been kept busy with remixes of his original versions, but for his new release 'Fountain Of Youth', out in 2016, Kasper turns his own full attention to the business of making people move.
